The name of the commune of origin, in this case IGÉ, may be added to the label after the name MÂCON, attesting that the wine comes from vines grown in the delimited area of the producing commune.
"La Gripeaude" is the name of the plot.
The appellation is grown on 13 ha of red vines (45 ha of white vines).
- Red chalky soils, clayey marl, then soft chalky soils.

Vinification and maturing
Vintage : 2024
One year follows another and no two are alike. After a generous and fairly mild 2023 vintage, 2024 was long, temperamental and rainy for our vineyard team. Rain was an integral part of their daily routine from autumn 2023 and throughout the vegetative growth of the vines. It took a lot of effort to contain mildew and weeds in the plots. Flowering went slowly but smoothly in the 1st half of June.
Until mid-June, temperatures fluctuated between normal and cool, with frost in some areas in April. It was only when summer came around that we were able to enjoy seasonal, even warm, temperatures.
In terms of Burgundy as a whole, the Côte Chalonnaise came out on top in terms of both the quantity and quality of the grapes harvested. Even if all these climatic hazards had an impact on the yield, we harvested grapes with very well-balanced ripeness and airy bunches. After meticulous sorting and fine vinification work, we're delighted with the quality of our wines. The whites are well-balanced, fresh and flavoursome. The reds are straightforward, fruity and elegant.
