Tasting notes
Bouquet: Elegant aromas of white flowers (acacia), mixed with notes of citrus carried by a mineral and fruity base.
Palate: In the mouth, it is vivid and light, with a well-balanced acidity. The enthusiastic attack is followed by a pleasant roundness. Its full body pairs perfectly with its freshness and offers a persistent sensation on the palate.

Origin
Village Appellation of the Chablis wine-growing district (dept. of Yonne) in the north of Burgundy.
Producing communes : this appellation may be grown in any of the communes within the delimited area of the Chablis wine-growing district.
The vineyards of the Petit-Chablis appellation lie on either side of the River Serein. This AOC was instituted in 1944. It is one of the jewels in the crown of the Chablis district which, lying in the northernmost department of Burgundy, forms the « golden gate » to the region as a whole. A Chardonnay wine through and through, « Petit » Chablis has, in fact, nothing « little » about it.
These carefully selected terroirs occupy the higher portions of the winegrowing slopes or the edge of the plateau. The soils are brown and derived from hard limestones, with patches of sandy silts. Altitudes : mostly between 230 and 280 metres.
Vinification and maturing
Vintage : 2024
One year follows another and no two are alike. After a generous and fairly mild 2023 vintage, 2024 was long, temperamental and rainy for our vineyard team. Rain was an integral part of their daily routine from autumn 2023 and throughout the vegetative growth of the vines. It took a lot of effort to contain mildew and weeds in the plots. Flowering went slowly but smoothly in the 1st half of June.
Until mid-June, temperatures fluctuated between normal and cool, with frost in some areas in April. It was only when summer came around that we were able to enjoy seasonal, even warm, temperatures.
In terms of Burgundy as a whole, the Côte Chalonnaise came out on top in terms of both the quantity and quality of the grapes harvested. Even if all these climatic hazards had an impact on the yield, we harvested grapes with very well-balanced ripeness and airy bunches. After meticulous sorting and fine vinification work, we're delighted with the quality of our wines. The whites are well-balanced, fresh and flavoursome. The reds are straightforward, fruity and elegant.
