Château de Mercey

Built in the 16th Century at the Southern limits of the Cote de Beaune, the Chateau de Mercey belonged to the Berger family for four generations; the family developed the vineyard during this time. The Château’s vineyards joined Maison Antonin Rodet in 1989.

The vineyard estate extends over 44 hectares principally on land around the Chateau itself.

Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune – the vineyards are trellised in lyre-shape. This technique allows the sun to shine within the vine rows and ensures quick ripening and prevents diseases.
