Château de Rully




This ancient fortified Chateau dating back to the 12th Century has remained the property of the same family since is origins and today is the symbol of the village of Rully. Maison Antonin Rodet has looked after the Chateau's vineyards since 1986 and has ensured vine culture and wine making.

The vineyard estate comprises 12 hectares, producing about 72% white wines,

whites:

         - Rully,

         - Rully 1er Cru "La Pucelle"

         - Rully 1er Cru "Clos de la Bressande" Monopole

reds:

         - Rully

         - Rully 1er Cru "Molesme"

       

The 330 hectare Rully appellation vineyard stretches over 4 km. 60% of the wines are white. The Chardonnay enjoys the limestone terroir with both marls and clay layers. Rully is located only a few kilometers of the Great White Wines of the Golden Triangle.  It enjoys the same exposure South-East, yet it has a slightly higher altitude.
