The Domaine of Château de Rully


This ancient fortified Chateau dating back to the 12th Century has remained the property of the same family since is origins and today is the symbol of the village of Rully.

Maison Antonin Rodet has looked after the Chateau's vineyards since 1986 and has

ensured vine culture and wine making.

The vineyard estate comprises 32 hectares, of which one third are Premiers Crus, producing about 80% white wines,

            - Rully Les Saint-Jacques Ouest

            - Rully 1er Cru Clos de la Bressande Monopole

et 20% red wines,

            - Rully 1er Cru Molesme

            - Rully 1er Cru Préaux…

The 330 hectare Rully appellation vineyard stretches over 4 km. 80% of the wines are white. The Chardonnay enjoys the limestone terroir with both marls and clay layers. Rully is located only a few kilometers of the Great White Wines of the Golden Triangle.  It enjoys the same exposure South-East, yet it has a slightly higher altitude.
